I don’t think this is true. ther are positive values in my own culture but theres extreme pride that its impossible to acknowledge negative social things . From this pride comes a denial of rape and dv, a denial that maintains the shame and stigma survivors continue to experience, making Sudanese society blind to the needs of survivors.
Good that leaders are bringing this issue to the fore. The conversation needs to happen amongst Sudanese men not just women no matter how uncomfortable it is!!!!
