We are working hard to make our Bystander Intervention Workshop available to groups but we need trained Workshop Facilitators

Facilitators receive training in Bystander Intervention and this training is cascaded to others

 Workshop Facilitators must be:

  • talented in small group facilitation
  • committed to violence prevention as a way of life
  • want to facilitate Bystander Intervention Workshop for at least two groups per year
  • interested in co-facilitating with another trained educator
  • willing to work with our violence prevention curriculum
  • willing to attend facilitator training at their own expense and
  • willing to become familiar with the materials prior to training

In return Think Prevent will provide:

  • facilitator training
  • referrals of groups near you interested in our Bystander Intervention Workshops
  • ongoing program development and new resources that become available
  • publicity for upcoming training
  • support networks with other facilitators
  • advocacy with organisers to ensure that you have a positive experience facilitating Active Bystander Basic Training

If this sounds right for you, complete your expression of interest to become a Facilitator for 2017

Personal question

There is a simple question so we can better understand you

Why do you want to become a Workshop Facilitator?

Please note that Facilitator’s are not able to charge fees for delivery of the Think Prevent curriculum. So if you are intending to sell workshops as a service, this is not the appropriate training for you

In submitting this expression of interest, you agree to the condition that no fee will be charged by yourself or your organisation to deliver any of the Think Prevent curriculum
